  • A doula is someone who provides emotional, physical, practical, and informational support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Unlike your medical care team, a doula doesn’t perform clinical tasks or give medical advice instead, we focus on supporting the woman as a whole person and helping them feel informed, calm, confident, and supported throughout the experience.

As a doula, I’m there to:

    • Help you understand your options

    • Support your preferences and goals for birth

    • Offer comfort measures during labour

    • Support your partner so they feel confident too

    • Create a calm and grounded environment

    • Walk alongside you through pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum

  • Research consistently shows that continuous support in labour can be associated with:

    • Higher satisfaction with the birth experience

    • Lower rates of some interventions

    • Increased confidence during labour and birth

    • Greater feelings of support for both parents

But beyond the research the biggest benefit many families describe is simply feeling seen, heard, and supported.

  • Short answer: No but many families love having both.

    Your partner knows you.
    Your doula knows birth support.

Together, we create a team where your partner can stay present and connected without carrying the pressure of remembering every comfort technique, position, or piece of information.

That means more space for your partner to simply be with you.

  • Yes! I offer tailored and flexible payment plans to suit you and your family.

Payment plans are always discussed and agreed upon hiring me as your trusty doula.
